The Triad Searcher

Me and my birth aunt, Jennifer.
My name is Lisa Vittori and I was adopted at 6 months to a wonderful family who had two boys already. After hitting so many brick walls searching for my birth mother on my own I hired a professional searcher, Colleen Buckner, who successfully found my Birth Aunt and Birth Mother. I bought her business after she had developed Melanoma cancer. She became my mentor and took me under her wing and trained me with all the expertise she had developed since starting her search business. She was an adoptive mother and helped her daughter successfully find her birth mother in 1994. Recently, Colleen passed away and my dedication to continue what she was so passionate about is stronger than ever.
I am a member of many genealogy societies and have spoken at Genealogy fairs educating people about the importance of Adoptees knowing their family histories. I am a member of American Adoption Congress (AAC) and have attended several of their amazing and educational conferences that have allowed me to meet so many great people in the Triad Community.
I am a member of Concerned United Birth Mothers (CUB) and have attended retreats to educate myself with understanding relinquishment and separation through the eyes of birth mothers and birth fathers. CUB is open to all sides of the triad and their retreats have many wonderful workshops.
I am a member of California Adoption Reform Effort (C.A.R.E.) California’s effort to open “Original birth records” for Adult adoptees while acknowledging state privacy laws.
I am a member of Washington Adoption Reunion Movement (WARM).
I look forward to helping you find your birth family and help you read that first chapter of your lives.
